It was hot and sticky. The kind of day that makes you want to stay inside. Even I, who would always rather be outside than stuck in an office all day, was not looking forward to stepping out the doors into the wall of heat.

Today’s theme is street. My photo might be better described as sidewalk. There weren’t many cars on the street, but when they came, they came fast. I didn’t want to risk my life to get the shot by standing in the middle of the road.
My 10k training app said it was a Long Run day. When I see the words long run, I think 10 miles or more. Which is completely ridiculous, since I am training to run six, or 6.2 to be exact.
