Whitney and I met in 2005, long before either of us would start writing online and a few years before she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. For the first article in the series, “Weekend Chats,” I asked Whitney a few questions about her life now. What struck me most from her responses is her optimism….
Robert Frost would have us believe that there are only two paths (according to traditional thoughts about the famous poem). One that everyone follows and the other only a select few traverse. I always wanted to be one of the select few who took the road less traveled.
Not all runs are good runs. Some just downright suck, as is the case with one of my runs this week. It started out as a run, but turned out to be more of a walk. It happens.
